How The Challenge Improves Surf Performance
We'll schedule a Private Coaching Call to define goals, answer questions and set you up for success.
Module 1: Fitness Foundation - First step regardless of your present fitness level. Everyone can benefit from a rise in their strength, cardio and mobility foundation
Module 2: Breathe - Specific exercises and programs to increase breathe capacity and give you practice in evlauating and improving your CO2 tolerance which is critical to becoming comfortable with the uncomfortableness and fear that wave hold downs can bring on.
Module 3: Surf Coach Led Trainings - We introduce longer form Coach led trainings that lead you through step by step.
Module 4: Connecting it all together - Introduction of new exercise flows and higher level practice in your surf specific strength, breath, mobility, and endurance.
Surf Strong Fitness exists to get and keep surfers strong and stoked in the water. For you to do that now and throughout life it's simple (not always easy) but simple. YOU NEED CONSISTENCY IN YOUR PROGRAM OUT OF THE WATER.

You do not need any equipment to start. As you progress some movements within the trainings will utilize light equipment like exercise ball or exercise bands. Some movements start to use kettlebells, suspension trainer / olympic rings, and/or dumbbells. There are modifications and alternatives within exercises to use bodyweight.
I am a big proponent of keeping training simple and focusing on consistency. Small investments in equipment will help you progress as you go forward.

Our approach is to teach you how to approach and improve your overall movement and then apply that fundamentally to your surfing. Our Surf Strong Circle of Fit System will show step by step how to do that.

Over the 20 years Greg has been a trainer a lot of things have changed in the fitness industry. The one thing that has never changed for him is a pure drive and joy to help surfers stay strong and stoked in the water till their last beat.
