We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share your personal information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices and choices required by law.

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

5.1 Service Providers and Contractors

We share personal information with trusted third-party service providers and contractors who help us operate our business and provide our services, such as:

  • Email and SMS/text platforms,

  • Customer relationship management (CRM) tools,

  • Scheduling and booking tools,

  • Cloud storage and hosting providers,

If you choose to participate in surveys or research related to our services, we use the information you provide for research, service improvement, and internal analysis.

  • When a survey is sponsored by a third party, we may share aggregated or de-identified results with the sponsor that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

  • Personally identifiable information collected through surveys or research will be used only by Surf Strong Fit and our service providers and will not be given or sold to a third party for their own marketing purposes without your consent or as otherwise permitted by this Privacy Policy.

5.3 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to any applicable legal requirements and this Privacy Policy (or a successor policy that is at least as protective).

5.4 Legal and Safety Obligations

We may disclose personal information if we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal process, or governmental requests,

  • Enforce our agreements, policies, or Terms of Use, or

  • Protect the rights, property, or safety of Surf Strong Fit, our clients, or others.

5.5 Aggregated or De-Identified Information

We may use and share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, for research, analytics, marketing, and other lawful purposes.

6. Cookies, Online Tracking, and “Do Not Track”

We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels, web beacons, and local storage) to:

  • Help our services function properly,

  • Remember your preferences and settings,

  • Keep you signed in,

  • Analyze how our services are used, and

  • Improve and customize your experience.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. You can usually set your browser to refuse cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. If you disable cookies, some features of our services may not work properly.

6.2 Online Tracking and “Do Not Track” Signals

Some web browsers allow you to send a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) signal to websites you visit. At this time, we do not respond to DNT signals or similar browser settings.

Some third parties may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our services (for example, analytics providers). You may be able to limit certain tracking by adjusting your browser or device settings or by using industry opt-out tools, where available.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required by law. This may include keeping information for:

  • The duration of your coaching relationship with us;

  • A period afterwards to maintain business records, respond to inquiries, and support our legitimate business interests; and

  • The time required by tax, accounting, or other legal obligations.

When we no longer need personal information, we will delete it or de-identify it, subject to any legal or contractual requirements.

8. Your Choices and Access to Your Information

If you have an account with us, you can review and update certain personal information at any time by logging into your account and visiting your profile or settings page.

You may also request that we:

  • Delete your account or certain personal information,

  • Correct inaccurate personal information, or

  • Change your marketing communication preferences.

To make these requests, please contact us using the information in the “Contact Us” section below. We will respond within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable laws. In some cases, we may need to retain certain information for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

  • Right to Non-Discrimination – The right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.

9.1 Exercising Your California Rights

To exercise these rights (to the extent they apply), you may contact us using the methods described in the “Contact Us” section below and indicate that you are making a “California privacy rights” request.

We will take steps to verify your identity before responding. Verification steps may vary depending on the sensitivity of the information requested. You may also designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf, in which case we may require proof of authorization and your identity.

We do not sell personal information for money. If we ever allow third-party advertising partners to collect personal information through our services for cross-context behavioral advertising in a way that would be considered “selling” or “sharing” under California law, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide appropriate opt-out mechanisms.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information below.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

11. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our services may refer to products, services, or other information from third parties and may contain links to websites or online services operated by third parties.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party websites, apps, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, and we do not control how they collect, use, or disclose your information.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party websites or services you visit or use.

12. Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have reason to believe that your account or interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately using the information below.
